AUTHORS GUIDELINES (Papers and posters)

By submitting an abstract, each author agrees to present the accepted contribution (oral or poster) and to register to the event (one registration is required for each accepted paper).

Early symposium registration fee for speaker or poster presenter : 930€ VAT excl. (for full participation) and 450€ VAT excl. (for one day participation).


Papers may be submitted for oral or poster presentation.
Extended abstract:  2 pages including tables, figures and references.
Full paper: 12 pages maximum including tables, figures and references.

Posters and Oral Presentations: the format required will be indicated to authors in due time.

Extended abstracts content and selection process

The content of the manuscript must address one of the following topics:

Dismantling Strategy and Program Development, Regulation Evolution, Development of New D&Ds’ Technologies, Initial Radiological State Characterization, Project Feedback Experience (Dismantling of Reactors, Hot Laboratories, Reprocessing Plants, … / Decontamination / Retrieval of Legacy Waste/ Use of numerical simulation / …), Material and Radioactive Waste Management, Buildings and Sites Rehabilitation, Economic and Financial Aspects of Dismantling Operations, Stakeholders Involvements and Public Acceptance.

The selection in oral and poster sessions will process the relevance of the subject with the aforementioned topics.

Sufficient details must be included in the extended abstract for reviewing.

Conference topic-lines and sessions

The definitive conference topic-lines and related sessions will be specified after the peer-review.



All submissions must be in English.

Author responsibility

It is the responsibility of the author to get all internal reviews and institution approvals prior submission.



Information related to publications (book of abstracts, proceedings, technical and academic revues) will be indicated to each author in the notification letter.



The template is the same for the extended abstract and full paper [oral and poster selections].The extended abstracts and full papers must be submitted in pdf format. It is the author’s responsibility to check the pdf version of the paper to ensure proper final use (in particular check the “embed all fonts” option).
